Circumstance screening

Join the Columbia Queer Alliance & Columbia Iranian Student Association for a free screening of Circumstance, the love story of two women in contemporary Iran.  We are also thrilled to welcome the film’s associate producer and Columbia alum, Hossein Keshavarz, to answer questions after the film. First Friday: Give Back

First Friday: Give Back. Join us for the last FF of the year. All proceeds go to the Ali Forney Center for LGBTQ homeless youth. There will be raffles with awesome prizes, including things from Babeland and various local vendors. Get an extra raffle ticket by purchasing a donut on Tuesday. Friday 10.2.11 at 11:30PM in Lerner Party Space.

Donuts & Dildos!

Come support CQA as we sell Krispy Kreme donuts for charity. If you buy a donut, your dollar goes to the Ali Forney Center for LGBTQ homeless youth, and you get an extra raffle ticket for First Friday. Donuts are $1 each. 9AM – 5PM outside Butler.

Queer Yoga

Join us for free yoga with the LGBTQ and allied community. Jacoby Ballard from Third Root Community Health Center has designed a class specifically for LGBTQ community, focused on recognizing and adoring the many ways of expressing gender and loving others. Please bring your own yoga mat if you have one. The Art of Living Club has generously donated a limited number of yoga mats which will be available. Please wear comfortable clothes that allow you to move freely. Wednesday, November 30th from 7:30 to 9:00 in the Satow Room in Lerner Hall.
