The Gay Health Advocacy Project (GHAP) at Columbia works to promote the sexual health and emotional well-being of all Columbia students, and particularly the LGBTQ (lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, questioning) community. We provide HIV-antibody testing, advocacy for medical and psychological care, sexual health counseling and education, support groups, and campus-wide programs. GHAP Advocates come from all of Columbia’s graduate, professional, and undergraduate schools.
Prospective volunteers should come to our annual recruitment information meeting on Monday, September 14, 2009, at 7 p.m. at Health Services in John Jay Hall (West Conference Room, 4th flr).
