First Friday: Give Back. Join us for the last FF of the year. All proceeds go to the Ali Forney Center for LGBTQ homeless youth. There will be raffles with awesome prizes, including things from Babeland and various local vendors. Get an extra raffle ticket by purchasing a donut on Tuesday. Get ready for the last First Friday OF THE DECADE, thrown by the Columbia Queer Alliance. We’re mixing things up, so this First Friday will actually be on the SECOND Friday, December 11th. For this dance, we’re teaming up with the Center for Health, Identity, Behavior, and Prevention Studies at NYU…
THREE QUEENS
We want to recognize all the queens who inspire the music and energy behind First Friday. We’ve chose three queens of our own to get you started: Britney, Gaga, and Rihanna. Suggest your own queens to our fabulous DJ, Tiffany Lee and add pictures to the facebook event. Mariah? Whitney? Adam Lambert? ALL ARE WELCOME! What top three will you be listening to this holiday season?

The Columbia Queer Alliance and other LGBTQ clubs will be heading out to 18+ club Rush on Saturday night once again! You know you all had (too much) fun last time, so we’d love to see you all again this upcoming Saturday.
Please note that Rush is 18+ for everyone and that there usually is a cover unless you sign-up for their listserv. You will need a state license in order to get in, so don’t forget it!
If you’re interested in going, please let us know by sending me an email (bwr2106@columbia.edu) so that we know to try and wait for you before we leave as a group. We’ll be planning to leave at around 930pm (for the Olds among us) and will get back whenever ya’ll want! I’ll send out an email the night of to give you more information.
