First Friday: Give Back. Join us for the last FF of the year. All proceeds go to the Ali Forney Center for LGBTQ homeless youth. There will be raffles with awesome prizes, including things from Babeland and various local vendors. Get an extra raffle ticket by purchasing a donut on Tuesday. *The National Marriage Boycott is asking for ALL PEOPLE to pledge to boycott the institution of marriage until President Obama makes good on his promise to repeal the Federal Defense of Marriage Act (DOMA). DOMA currently defines marriage as a union between ONE man and ONE woman, thus denying 1,183 federal rights to same-sex married couples in states that allow for same sex marriage. You can fill out the petition here. We’ll also be selling boycott rings at First Friday.

It’s taken us a little while (sorry!) but we finally have our pictures up from First Friday: Technocolor! We’ve just upgraded to a new flickr account which means we can now upload more pictures than before, which means more embarrassing opportunities to tag your friends on facebook!
One of our new board members has also added up pictures of the QuAM opening table day (BEFORE the balloon arch was cut) and when Cleve Jones came to speak before the National Equality March.
